ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE

Central Villages Anglican Church has been at home in the Central Blue Mountains for over 130 years. Founded as 'Emmanuel Church Lawson' in 1884 by some local Christians who were keen to have a place to worship close to home, Central Villages Anglican has been teaching people about Jesus ever since.

Today we're just as passionate as we have ever been to share Jesus with the people who live in the Central Mountains. We're made up of people from the villages of Linden, Woodford, Hazelbrook, Lawson and Bullaburra, and from further afield. Our youngest members are newborns, our oldest members are in their nineties, and there are people from every decade in between! All united by a desire to love and live and share the gospel of Jesus, with each other and with our friends and neighbours.

We're proud to be part of the Sydney Anglican network of churches, and get along really well with our fellow local churches Lawson Baptist Church and Woodford Presbyterian Church.
