At Central Villages Anglican Church we want to help people at every age and in every circumstance to get to know Jesus better!
Here are some of the things we do to serve our community and help people to trust Jesus.
We have two Sunday services every week!
At 8:30am we gather in the Emmanuel Church to enjoy a more traditional service.
At 10am we gather in both the Auditorium and the Emmanuel Church for a service that's popular with all ages, especially families with kids.
Both services include singing, praying, Bible talks, and regular Lord's Suppers.
During COVID-19, we are also live-streaming our 10am Church Service each Sunday.
Children are precious, and they get their own special program at 10am Church!
Kids sit with the adults for the first part of the service, then before the Sermon head out to the Kids Hall for a time of Bible stories, fun craft, and games. (If your child would rather stay with you in the church service, that's fine too!)
Parents with babies are welcome to use our Parents Room facilities for privacy and a quiet space if needed.
We value the safety and wellbeing of all children at our church, and our Kids Church Leaders and Teachers are trained in Safe Ministry practices.
We love getting to teach SRE ('Scripture') at both Lawson Public School and Hazelbrook Public School.
Lots of parents in our area are keen for their children to know something about Jesus while they are at school, and its our privilege to be able to take these lessons.
Our volunteer teachers are all well trained and well supported so that they can do a great job.
Bible Study Groups
We've got Bible Study Groups meeting at different times throughout the week, where people get together to go in-depth reading the Bible and also pray for what's going on in each others lives. It's a great way to build friendships and to know Jesus better!
Groups are always open to new members.

Baptisms & Dedications
The birth of a baby is a happy occasion, and we love getting to help and encourage local families as they raise the next generation to know God.
If you're interested in having your child Baptised or Dedicated, then please contact the Church Office.
We are honoured to be asked by families to take a loved one's funeral. It is our privilege to be able to walk with you and support you in a time of great sadness and grief.
To avoid disappointment, please be in touch with us as soon as possible, so that we can form a plan with you that will suit everybody involved.
During COVID we are also live-streaming funerals, to allow for interstate mourners to attend online.
Friday Youth Group
We join forces with our friends at Lawson Baptist Church to run a Friday Night Youth Group for high schoolers from the area.
Fridays during term time, 7-9:30pm.
Getting married is a big, wonderful, meaning-filled thing!
We love having Weddings at our church, and also preparing couples for a lifetime spent together.
Contact our Minister, Tom Melbourne, to enquire.
